An excellent song by Rahman. One of his best numbers in "recent" years, perhaps. Splendid Sindhu Bhairavi with the lovely Mohanam interludes. One of his more recent Sindhu bhairavi based songs in Man Mohana from Jodha Akbar, which is spectacular, IMO.
But the pitch IS a bit too high for my liking. Even Sadhana Sargam sounds a bit strained when she sings..
